Semoga suatu hari nanti, empayar nusantara raya menjadi kenyataan..

Memang heboh betul kisah seorang ‘part time’ model yang kantoi minum Beer.
Kesimpulannya, rakyat-rakyat Islam Malaysia sekalian, minumlah ‘Beer’ demi menjana pendapatan negara kita!! Merdeka!!
Hi guys, today I wanna give some review on 2 of these items I bought last year, and it’s proven to be crap.
Item no. 1: Victoria single sized foam mattress
The price tag was RM200. Yeah, when I first bought, it seems nice. Firm and soft. After a few months of using it, I think after 6 months, it started to sag on the middle. Yeah, I always rotate the matt as what people usually do. But still I can’t escape the sagging. The middle curve of the matt can lead to backpain problem when I woke up. That’s bad! Hence, I had to do some balancing on the matt. Took some heavy items to make sure the surface are even.
Item no 2: Standard office chair
Same price tag with the Victoria mattress. Well, I bought it at the same shop. Just a walking distance from my apartment. A small furniture shop. Maybe because I’m too lazy to shop around.
Well, the problem with this chair is that it didn’t support lower back of your body. I mean you have to sit up straight all the time. If you lean just a little bit lower, after a few while you can feel the pain on your lower back. Well I think this ain’t bad as the 1st item.
Well, I learn something. Next time, please shop around! Wakakaka..
I never knew the existence of this device since it’s first release in 2007. What a slow poke hah? When I get to know the reviews a few months ago, my mind just can’t resist it. How long can I stand to play racing simulation games with just using the keyboard? You can’t control the depth of acceleration and break, you can’t control the turning radius. The point is, it’s way far from the real thing! Hence, the Logitech G25 is the thing that I really needed..
I bought this item about 3 months ago, with the price tag of RM870 in C-Zone, Lowyat Plaza. After a few surveys, that was the cheapest I can get. The item came with 3 separate parts, the wheel, the gearbox set and also the foot pedals. You can tell just by looking at it that the unit is not cheaply made. Of course this item comes with the installation CD and a free demo game.

G25
The wheel is coated with leather and includes a metal pedal shift. It has 2 front buttons which you can customize the functionality. I usually use it to change camera and NOS. The maximum turning radius is 900 degrees!
The gearbox set has a directional gamepad-style thumbpad if you need them. The shift is a six speed with a reverse as well. How cool is that? It also has a sequential shift mode option, if that’s your personal preference. They prolly compensate the few function buttons on the wheel with 8 buttons at this gearbox! Maybe you can use the gearknob to play a flight simulation game.. :p
The acceleration, brake and clutch pedals are metal. The distance between the acceleration and brake pedal is wider than the distance between the brake and clutch which we can see that in most of the cars.
I’ve tried this device with titles such as GRID, Pro Street, rFactor, GTR Evolution, Undercover and Burnout Paradise. The force feedback is the best part. You can feel the difference when you hit the curb, the grass or sand, and also when your car is skidded. Overall I think the best game that utilizes the force feedback would be GTR Evolution. I’ll try Dirt next time.
With the price tag, I think it matches the quality of this item. Improvements that I wanna see for the next version would be: more buttons on the wheel and a lil bit wider wheel.
Yesterday I went to the Super GT event which was held in Sepang with my friend Diwant. Having the chances to seat at the grandstand was damn marvelous.
As the cars were properly lined up, the safety car horned as an indicator for the drivers to start their engine. I was so touched to hear the sound of the engines as they all ignite simultanously. The crowd went crazy and the rest are history.

Last week, on 3rd Apr 09, I went to Singapore for a holiday. Actually the main purpose of the visit was to attend the Oasis concert. I’m not a big fan of them, so I didn’t go to the concert and my presence was mere to complete my 5 times in a row for 5 years visiting S’pore(Ngada-ngada).
It’s very rare to see me uploading pictures here. Pictures are courtesy of Ridhuan ‘Diwant’, and Izham ‘Am’ Saringat. Thanks much guys!

Last week, all of a sudden, I decided to upgrade my PC’s processor which was actually aged about a year. I was thinking that my Intel E2200 with a stock speed of 2.2Ghz (overclocked to 2.66Ghz) with 1MB of cache is bottlenecking my graphic card of Nvidia 7800 GT. So, I went on to sell the old processor. Suprisingly the model is not obsolete yet from the market. The 1st hand price would be around RM230. Last time I bought it at RM310.
So I tested the 2nd hand market. Promoted it on LYN forum with the basic price of RM169. It was overwhelming, few minutes later tons of sms’es and messages received. Sold to a Chinese guy the next day with the price of RM165. A few days my PC was in downtime without a processor, haha.
For a new processor, I surveyed on the 2nd hand product in LYN forum. Hmm, I didn’t felt that confident on the condition of the product. Surely they had overclocked it like hell. Well, overclocking can actually decrease the lifespan of a processor fyi.
So i decided to buy a new one. I had two options for my budget. 1) Dual Core E5400 2.7Ghz with 2MB cache - priced around rm330 or 2) Core 2 Duo E7400 2.8Ghz with 3MB cache - priced around rm425. I opted for the latter just because of the name ‘Core2duo’ LOL.
Bought it in Lowyat and straightaway went home to test it. The first try was a failure. The PC can boot but it hangs on the Power-On-Self-Test screen (POST). It went totally freeze and can’t input anything from the keyboard nor the mouse. No beep sound error too. ‘What the heck went wrong?’. I tried tighten up all the hardware connections hundred times but failed. Tried to update the bios, but can’t coz it hangs and freeze and no indication of the possibility to receive input from any storage device. My mobo of Asus P5KPL supports until Core 2 Quad, so I thought it would be fine with this.
I contacted the Asus technical support and what do you know, they said my mobo doesn’t support E7400 because of it’s new architecture. I reconfirmed it by going to the Asus website and yeah, it was totally farked. That means I had to buy a new damn mobo.
Bought a new mobo from the same place, Asus P5QL PRO with the price of RM315. There were actually many cheaper mobos but I was not confident with em all, plus I wanna try some hardcore overclocking with this processor. I sold the old mobo to a LYN forumer with only RM125. Yeah, very cheap huh? That’s because it was actually obsolete from the 1st hand market.
Well, at last! My PC was back in style! Did some overclocking and stress testing. For the moment, I managed to OC from 2.8Ghz to 3.46Ghz without adding the vCore. Still on stability testing before OCing to a higher speed.
Did some few benchmark testing. The performance increment in 3DMark2006 was not that overwhelming. Damn. Now instead of my processor, I think my graphic card is bottlenecking my processor. Next stop would be probably getting a 8800GT. 2nd hand should be enough!
The total cost of the upgrade was RM450 (after deducting the sales of the old components). Well, I think it’s worth it. I would do anything for my 4th wife. ![]()
Jom kita lihat kembali sejarah nusantara kita.
Nampaknya ‘we’re on the right track’.
Satu bahasa, satu budaya, satu agama, empayar Nusantara Raya!
